Who: The doctor. Open to all
What: Waking up in a new place.
Where: First floor of the hotel
The doctor hadn't been in the best of moods for the past few long months. He had been forced into a hotel with only Rose and had realized that he had feelings for her and in return she felt the same. It was brilliant and he got to experiance something he hadn't in a long time; love. It was like a dream, those few months together, but like all dreams, it came to an end.
After he had woken up in the TARDIS again by himself he had been overwhelmed with grief when he realized that Rose didn't come back with him. The Doctor decided not to take anymore companions from then on because he brought them pain and he didn't want to bring pain to himself either. That had worked wonderfully for a few months; sure he felt lonely but he wasn't hurting much because of it. He only hurt when he was reminded of Rose and those times weren't even frequent anymore.
That was until he woke up in a bed that didn't belong in his TARDIS. His eyes opened immediatly, scanning the room silently in an attempt to figure out just where he was but only coming up empty handed by just looking in this one room. Maybe he could figure it out if he walked through the door, find out where he was, and get out.
He stood up from his bed, still fully clothed and to his surprise he was still wearing his red convers. He ignored that for now and walked quickly to the door, looking out and about at what seemed to be a hotel from the 1980s, though he was smart enough to know that this WASN't earth. Might as well explore and look for people he guessed so with that he stuffed his hands in his coat and walked down the hallway.

One without the Doctor. The one person she had been searching for, for ages now it seemed without any luck. She digged into her pocket to feel for her teleport disc only to find an empty space where it once resided. At that, Rose started to worry but a part of her told her it had to be around here somewhere.
Further she trekked, passing several locked doors before turning the corner and then coming to a halt at the form in front of her. The back of a long brown coat. There had been many disappointments in the past with this image and Rose reasoned it was just another cruel trick that her bran was playing on her. But still her eyes stared while her lips stayed closed. If she said a word, surely the image would vanish.

It was something that used to happen on a regular basis after waking up in his TARDIS again without her. But she didn't dissapear when he called her name.
He slowly walked over to her and put a hand on her cheek once and smiled excitedly.
"It is you isn't it? Not a dream this time yeah?"

"Funny ole universe, yeah?" she said softly. "But I know you'll only fade again." she looked into his eyes with a soft sad gaze. Still she didn't want to believe.
"So where have you been?" she asked knowing he'd fade in the seconds to come.

"Been a bit busy, still travelling." he stated "Not the same without you, mind you.I'm not travelling with anyone anymore."

In a way she was happy to hear that he had been travelling although she wondered what he had been and who he had encountered. A small smile appeared again as her dark brown eyes looked at his face. "Why not? Always figured you'd find someone else."
She gave his hand a tug as if testing it out before leading him down the hallway.

In a way she had always thought he would be travelling with someone exploring the universe because that was his life and truth be told she didn't want him to be alone. She knew what that was like all too well. "I don't know what to say," a small smile appeared again as she glanced down at the floor. "You should've found someone though," Although inwardly she was glad. Saved her from the jealously.
"I've been okay, back...there." Really she didn't think of that parallel earth as her home. "Mickey kept saying that this was impossible. Finding you again."

"The ole team," she couldn't help but say with a grin. Again the feeling of the squeeze seemed to reassure her in a way that he really was here with her and she couldn't believe it.
